So today was frontlines tryouts I just wanna say first of all congrats to everybody drum majors are colleen menerey, mari pinedo, and matt or mark? seppy?, majorettes are Sara Oakley-captain, Cassandra Searcy(me)-co-captain, Jessica Evans, and Sydney ?.  Im not sure who all made flag but there was a bunch I just remember Crystal Godsey yeah for you chica, Lauren Allen got Lieutenant once again good job chica, Aaron Strickland made it, Emily Milam my sisters best friend made it and that's all I remember sorry guys but good job to everybody who made it and if you didn't make it just remember i didn't make it my first year either its okay just practice and you'll do amazing next year

well so far no comments makes me little sad but yall probably just don't know that this is up and running again well anyways today in band mrs. hann conducted for us which is always fun.  and i dont know the whole story but there seems to be some kind of stage room door conspiracy going on with the first band percussionists.  apparently some guy in stage craft during third period is trying to sabatoge rehearsals by opening the door so if any of yall are wondering whats going on with percussion during band thats it.  also today we were without trusty and tenney which is always sad and its hard to go on with rehearsals when many soloists are at all-state.  well im just rambling now so yall guys leave some comments.

so i don't know how many of yall actually looked at this when it existed last year under callie but since callie is more than graduated im going to try and start it up again.  today was the first day of all-state yeah to everyone that made it.  also concert contest is march 2-4 and thats only like 13 more rehearsals guys so you better be practicing well thats all i got for now

Solo and Ensemble....uh...yeah...wow...it was an interesting night for lots of us!  Lost score sheets, misjudgment and misunderstanding....yeah, what more could go wrong.  Me, being sick and not being able to hear very well tonight, thought that my judge said "you MUST be the first year baritone in your school!" hahaha!   (He said chair not year! )  and poor Christi, the judge of her ensemble with Kim and Kevin asked if they were all 3rd year band members!  They all said yes....way to lie kids!!  haha But Christi's solo "rocked my socks off!"--I stole Emily's saying!  and then Erin's ensemble group's score sheet went missing!  And then there was Katie....what more do I need to say!  lol!  She had everyone laughing outside the cafeteria with her dancing!  People that weren't even from our school were taking pictures of her!  and Horray for Shelli!  She played the B flat major scale on my baritone!  She is so All-State baritone material!! On our way home, our bus sang praise and worship songs...the whole way home!  It was awesome!  Usually only 2 or 3 people will sing but we had about 15 people singing along!  It was really neat!  Well....after a long night of fun filled activities, Trusty is making us wait until tomorrow morning to find out what we made!  When we find out what, we'll post more!!!
